Have you disconnected a hot water line at either faucet.........then run pump and blow line out into a bucket?
(This will help check if problem is in hot plumbing lines or in hot side of faucets)
Vinegar soak............takes more then 2 gallons
Need to do a vinegar soak of WH tank and then hot plumbing lines'
6 gallon WH tank........4 gallons of vinegar/2 gallons water
Have to pour vinegar into WH tank by removing T&P Relief vlave and use a funnel. Then reinstall T&P
Turn on water supply and fill WH Tank.
Then turn on WH..........let it heat the vinegar/water solution up 4 cycles (without using any hot water)
Then after last heat cycle....run hot vinegar/water solution thru HOT water lines.........let it soak for couple hours.
Then drain/flush/rinse system
