Polaris Inverter Generators
Anyone own one of these? http://www.polaris.com/en-ca/generators Specs look similar to the Honda/Yamaha/Champion gens.

I would say it is. The features on paper are not as good as Honda's aging design.
And it's unproven to boot.
Why would anyone pay the same price for it?
If you are going to compete in a market segment. then Compete!!
The Polaris isn't competitive on any front, and is unproven as well.
A newcomer to the market wanting to take on Honda, needs to do as Yamaha has. Bring a product that has different features or better features, so that the consumer will get some real value for their $$$.
