That's because the original saying (which everyone has forgotten) was

I will agree that sometimes the more expensive items were a disappointment, but in general if you buy quality items - tools especially - they will last longer than the cheap stuff.
Curious if that applies to RV's as well. After all, almost every RV is discounted well below the MSRP when sold. Cheap and quality seem to spill over into the RV market as well... Yes or no?
