A while back, a Honda service tech posted on this site, all the Honda generator models and where they were built and the bulk of them were of Chinese origin.
My philosophy is, I don't care where it originated at, so long as it performs correctly and fulfills the need I have at a price point that is appealing to me.
Of course I would prefer to buy a domestic product, that's all about being pro domestic but in the case of generators, it's not going to happen. Having had the domestic option removed, my above paragraph applies.
