Predator Inverter 2kW?
OK, Champion Generators have proven to be very popular, both for use and to criticize. Has anyone tried the Harbor Freight Predator? HF Predator Inverter 2kW

I don't know anything about the predator, but the Champion 1700/2000 seems to get many more good reviews than bad. I bought one at our Menards store for $499 less an 11% rebate (they run the rebate special every few weeks. In fact it is on now). I haven't used it camping yet, but it is going to be my "go to" when all I need to do is keep batteries charged. It can be paralleled and should run an 13.5 btu ac in parallel.
