I'm with DOWNTHEROAD. I have a gas powered washer, and it takes me hours to clean about 300-400 sq ft. of the brown scum.
I'm not so sure I'd worry about variable pressure; different spray heads give different cleaning effects.
They make a part for that!!!
My neighbor just bought an attachment for his pressure washer it's a real large circle attachment that goes on the end. It spreads the power of the washer in a big diameter. You don't lose any the power it's contained in the circle and you gain the area you wash at one time. He said it actually increased the cleaning capabilities also.
Took him HALF the time with the attachment to do his driveway in Florida same mold, same black scum you have in Texas!
