I've spent weeks every year doing pressure washing. Owned three gas and twice that in electrics. Some of the electrics can do the job the bigger ones do, it just takes longer. The gas can't always go where the electrics can so each have their place.
When one of the gas models needed it's pump rebuilt, it was worth it, like new really. All three still run. When something went wrong with an electric, we pitched it.
One thing to know is that while electrics can damage things, large gas models can do it on a much larger scale and faster too. A zero point will carve up most things, even concrete. I use to start people out on a electric to see if they were going to act like idiots before they ever got a chance to etch their name in a driveway.
The spinning 0 point nozzles can do a fair job on the bigger electrics, it will widen the path you are cleaning. Practice with something that doesn't matter to get a feel for whatever you get.
If there is a rental shop near you, you might check them out. They should have commercial grade gear that you wont have to store or repair and you'll save a lot.
