Still no answer to the question why fully charged house batteries lose 10-15% of there charge while driving for 5-6 hours.
If you have a failed battery isolator or disconnect switch, that could be the reason the house batteries lose AH while driving. You have stated, though, that the vehicle alternator does charge the batteries. Could it be that your batteries are at full charge immediately after driving and you are not accounting for a draw from the system or are overestimating the SOC?
