It is an '89 dodge van.
The problem is the stock dash blower motor circuit, not for an RV furnace.
In the past I have physically blocked off the high setting, and also have had to clean the contacts on the selector switch.
The selector switch is working fine and not getting hot as it had in the past before cleaning and rebending the springs for more pressure.
I think a contributing factor is physical pressure on the wires. The fuse box is in the glove box. The aftermarket fuse holder has some pressure on it when the lids are closed over it. Perhaps it chafes through over a few years. I'll address this issue.
While the most damage appears to be inside the fuse holder itself, the nearby wires melted their insulation a bit, and they looked like they were distorted from pressure. Half the pressure point is grounded metal.
We'll see if the new Maxi 20 amp fuse blows when driving with fan on high for a while. Perhaps once the motor heats up it starts pulling more current than in my tests. There is nothing else on the circuit as My AC is INop and comnpressor electrically disconnected
