Problem with Champion generator

I checked the oil level and it had gone down a little from when I changed it after break in. I topped it off to the bottom of the threads and still nothing. I’m starting to wonder if it isn’t the spark plug. It’s like it isn’t getting spark at all. If it is the plu, I can’t figure out why it would be bad after only two weekends of use.

Let me warn you that on the 3500 anyway the spark plug is a major PITA to get out. The frame blocks you from directly inserting a socket wrench. I finally bought a spark plug wrench with a universal joint. On mine it takes a 13/16th. Seems way to early for the plug tho. And only the one with ring problems was in bad shape on mine.
