Proflex?

Can I use Proflex here or should I get something else? These are wires powering my power awning and LED strip.
This was sealed with some whitish tan "gummy stuff". I removed most of the gummy stuff and applied Proflex. I used the Proflex because it's what I have on hand, but now I'm second guessing this.

Thanks
  • I am not an expert in all types of sealant, but I don't see a problem using Proflex. It may be harder to remove than some sealants??

  • Proflex okay, but non self leveling Dicor or better yet OSI Quad (also available in colors) is better. It is used on houses and buildings for sealing around doors and windows.

OSI Quad can also be used around trailer windows, doors and other side wall penetrations after using butyl tape. It is a polyurethane caulk that seals and stays stretchy and rubbery after curing.

I may be removing it in a few weeks to install something else there. Maybe I'll get some Dicor for this if I have to do it over.
