Yes, TRC's warranty is one year BUT that warranty doesn't contain anywhere near the limitations of the new Progressive limited lifetime warranty ... not much advantage to a so-called lifetime warranty if the company won't honour it. The TRC also includes an interesting feature the Progressive units don't, an 8 sec trip delay. Some may question whether this is a good idea or not but obviously TRC engineering feels it is a worthwhile feature and it sure would eliminate nuisance trips caused by brief duration power bumps. Generally TRC units are also less expensive than comparable Progressive units. I also recall someone here on the forum recently mentioning that Camping World would sell a second year of warranty coverage on the TRC unit for $40.
