i know this has been here before ? but, how many gal does a 30# take to fill ?

- Propane weighs 4.11 pounds per gallon at 25 deg C, according to Wiki.
- I just filled one of my 30#ers the other day.... sure felt heavier than 55#. But, I've been slinging up there for the past ten years.:B
- Takes about 7 gals and weighs about 55 lbs.
