Water heater did exactly what it was designed to do.....relight on flame failure.
It will do this 3 times and then 'fault' (no more attempts and light will come on at ON/OFF panel).
Oven pilot flame......
Both have same issue.
Lack of propane flow due to lack of use.
Propane system needed flow established and a demand placed on regulator (folks say that need to purge line of air...no air in system just no flow)
After a period of non-use fire off the stove top burners on high. This will 'purge' the lines (establish flow and place demand on regulator)
Remember propane system is less than .5 psi.
Okay Old-Biscuit, if there isn't any air in the line, what is it that is blowing against the flame from the little propane fire lighter I use? The flow of something out of the burners does move the lighter flame and will blow out a match but it doesn't burn. It must be some type of gas, there's no liquid coming out.
Just what is FLOWING out of the burners?
