Propane tank ran out.
I had the empty tank refilled.
Opened valve on refilled tank
Rotated knob to move the indicator to the tank that is now running. It turned pretty hard and then it got easy and the plastic knob came loose and it pulled right off. The stem that was inside the plastic indicator turns free, no resistance.
We are on the road and moving frequently for the next few days. I called our dealer and have a new regulator ready to be shipped once we get to a spot where we will stay for a few days. But in the mean time I am wondering if the regulator is going to switch to the other tank when this one runs out? Will I have to physically switch positions moving a full tank in place of the empty one?
Any ideas about whats going on here
Not sure why your image is not displaying but when I copy/paste address it shows you have a Cavagna Regulator.
Regulator will auto swap when tank runs out......just change 'indicator' stem to opposite position when you go to refill empty tank
