Had my propane tank filled today and found that the vent is not working. I have never been able to get more than 7 gallons in a 12 gallon tank. Not sure how to fix this? this is the tank that came on ...

Maybe it was never purged correctly by the first people that filled it.
After you empty it, have the filler attempt to purge it more. If you get a bunch of air pressure out you'll know it needs purging.
