propane tank
Had my propane tank filled today and found that the vent is not working. I have never been able to get more than 7 gallons in a 12 gallon tank. Not sure how to fix this? this is the tank that came on ...

That "vent" is not really a "vent" at all, but rather it's the "Fixed Liquid Level Gauge" that's used to tell when the liquid has reached the 80% full point, the maximum the tank can legally hold.
I always, incorrectly, called it a vent ! Learn something new everyday !!
