Protection from Power Surges-Electrical and Storm?

My Class C motor home uses 30 amps. What is the best way to prevent any damage during a storm or electrical power surges? Which surge is worst? What damage can happen in a surge? What can I buy to pre...

Howdy!

We use Progressive EMS and it has saved use on more tha one occasion from storm lighing stricks. We had hard wired system in our old RV and the new 5er we use a portable one. As fulltime RVers we would not be without our Progressive EMS.
