Ok, got more specifics from my husband....."Can the Jackery charge my house batteries which in turn will run my refrig, TV and coffee maker. We are planning to get a Jackery 1000 and another 100 watt portable solar panel. Is that enough or do we need more solar panels? Thanks
Yes it will if you can turn off the house converter charger..I have plugged my cord into my power station but I can't turn off the charger section of the converter so it charges my house battery which is very wasteful..But you can!
Power stations have there place for some..I personally would never spend over $500 for one tho..Jackeries do not use LFP batteries making them short term like lead acid batteries..Bluetti on the other hand uses LFP batteries with cylindrical cells just like Batteleborn in some of there units,(3500 cycles) making them 10 plus years in longevity versus 3-5 maybe on others without LFP batteries.
I have a couple power stations I use in my TC or in the house..They are very handy for power outages in the house or anywhere in the TC I need power..If you shop and watch you can get these power stations really cheap..My LFP 700 Watt hour cost me $399 and has a 700 watt PSW inverter/regulated 12v outlets and came with the wall charger and all the cables...You would be hard pressed to build the same for that,I have tried..LOL
Good luck to the op and just ignore the nay sayers that have never owned one..For my use, they work just dandy.
