My regulator has failed before going through the first pair of tanks. Rather then spend the $$ for fuel to get to the dealer for inspection and warranty replacement I'd rather just get a better on...

Sure sounds like a ruptured diaphragm. Do you have time to exchange it with the dealer by mail or fedex? I think Rego makes a better one. I'm certified to do so but I haven't seen much for repair parts since the 70s. Craig
