Quality Question about Small Inverters
I'm shopping for a small, pure sine wave inverter. I'm interested in one that provides about 300 watts. Prices vary wildly, from around $40 to over $150 for a seemingly similar product. I'm not naive....

Morningstar SureSine 300 watt inverter. Surge to 600 watt for up to 10 minutes. These numbers are real world, as opposed to many inverters which don't really put out the rating. It has no fan, so a very low 55 mA self consumption. Peak efficiency of 92%. You can buy them new for $266 shipped on ebay.
I have one of these and am very happy with it. Not cheap, but you pay for quality. Use any small gauge two wire cable to run to any inexpensive toggle switch for a remote inverter switch.
