The Solar 30 has adjustable voltage for single stage charging, so you can pick a suitable Vabs for LFP and it holds there. No Float unless you reduce the setting, but it gets dark to take care of that, so not a problem in many situations.
However, mine is not calibrated properly, but the error is fixed, so you can use it safely. Mine has a 0.5v error so I set 14.3 as Vabs and it actually goes to 14.8v and holds there (where I want it in my case).
With LFPs being about being careful with the chosen Vabs, the OP could do well by checking just what voltage his gets to compared with what he sets, in case it is like mine. That could get a too-high Vabs for the LFPs depending on what it really does.
Perhaps with LFPs it would be a good idea to do that comparison with any solar controller you might have just in case.
Good point about the sun not being as high up North as it is in Florida, making for lower output.
