I just re-read your post and didn't see anything in it about flushing the black tank after dumping. Get a clear adapter to put on the end of your sewer pipe. Dump the black tank normally. Then close the valve and fill the tank about 1/2 full. Dump again and see how much stuff was still in there. Repeat this process until, or just stick a garden hose down the toilet, until you see clear water running out.
