- MrWizardModeratorhe said it was "professional commercial install" and the converter was removed and magnum is the charger
to me it sounds there is a problem with the magnum
since he specified in subsequent posts that the fridge was on propane, and this has operated error free for (3) years
he could have put all that in the first post, would have caused a lot less trouble, to be precise to begin with - 2oldmanExplorer III don't see that you've responded to a query about your converter being on.

Folks who ask for help with major battery problems usually don't post disorganized questions "Just For Fun". Analyzing then writing an answer to a complex problem is not fun. It is a serious attempt to help.

If this was done as a prank I am not amused, thank you very much!
. - MEXICOWANDERERExplorerBaffling posts followed by baffling responses to answers offered by others is an excellent way to cause confusion. Review questions before posting, then question an answer if you do not understand it. The key to problem solving is communication. Mixed signals are a sure recipe for failure.

Yes, I read that, and you said one was slow to recover. One battery can drag down the bunch. Were I you I'd hook up to just 2 good batteries and see what happens.
Just had them load tested yesterday and the three year old 6 volt trojan arms are OK.
However, since your Mag is making funny noises, I'd say that's just as likely the problem.CJW8 wrote:
It could very well be this too.
3. If whole house inverter, make sure your converter in off. Is it possible your inverter is truly whole house and was feeding your converter charger? - 2oldmanExplorer II

We were using our solar system along with an inverter and batteries. Have I posted this in the wrong area?I spent a wad and am just looking for some help 2oldman.
I'm not sure what this has to do with solar.
Yes, I understand you're looking for help, and the only thing I could add is that I think your batteries are shot. - MEXICOWANDERERExplorerFolks who ask for help with major battery problems usually don't post disorganized questions "Just For Fun". I think you may have to call Magnum. It sounds as if there has been some sort of failure in the inverter.
Does it only make the sound when powering the cpap? Have you tried a different outlet for the cpap? - pianotunaNomad IIII think you may have to call Magnum. It sounds as if there has been some sort of failure in the inverter.
