When in doubt or even having to ask questions about electical codes and installation call an electrician and be safe and insured.We used to tell people who came to the office or called how to install the material they had purchased from the local box store how to install it, to call a certain number for advice.The number was the local electrical inspector who then became aware of unqualified individuals doing electrical installations.General electrical fixing is fine,doing anything more is dangerous to others and expensive on denied insurance claims.More then one electrical worker and utility employee have suffered due to uninformed DYI.work to save money.
