QUESTION New Fords And Chassis Battery Disconnect

I got an email from someone I don't know but he said he knows a friend of mine. He has a 2014 V10 one-ton pickup truck in Guadalajara and "Jim" said he believes the battery is going bad. Up jump...

Yes, the tip is to rig up a second 12volt battery to a cig. lighter / power port cord, plug it in and (carefull not to short the battery cables) swap out the battery.

The computer will never lose power. You won't even need to reprogram the presets on the radio.
