QUESTION New Fords And Chassis Battery Disconnect

I got an email from someone I don't know but he said he knows a friend of mine. He has a 2014 V10 one-ton pickup truck in Guadalajara and "Jim" said he believes the battery is going bad. Up jump...

This is Mexico fellas. Jim is going to have to get his hands on a 2nd battery, clip it to a pair of conductors, then babysit the battery terminals (maybe foam cups for insulators) while the mechanics do the swap. Something else is going on because a rig that new should not need a replacement battery.

But thanks for the head's up!

The dealer has zero idea about the need to reset the ECU.

It's a long haul to Texas and his trip according to him, is just started...
