QUESTION New Fords And Chassis Battery Disconnect

I got an email from someone I don't know but he said he knows a friend of mine. He has a 2014 V10 one-ton pickup truck in Guadalajara and "Jim" said he believes the battery is going bad. Up jump...

The 9v battery thing is only to keep radio settings while swapping out the battery. It has nothing to do with the battery being disconnected while towing. Don't really think it is even applicable to newer vehicles.
