QUESTION New Fords And Chassis Battery Disconnect

My buddy owns a shop where they install a-lot of lift kits on trucks.On all the new trucks they have electric power steering so he has to unhook the battery before he does any front suspension work.He hasen,t had any problems afterwords when hooking the battery back up.
