QUESTION New Fords And Chassis Battery Disconnect

The biggie is cobbling an adapter plate to fit an EFI engine, then fitting a two barrel Motorcraft carburetor atop the adapter. Four speed trans running around on 3 speeds, electrical tape covering the dash check engine light.

With gasoline at four dollars a gallon, I would rather not pay the eqvt of five dollars or more because of lost fuel mileage. Some 4 cylinder cars I have ridden in get the same fuel economy as a 29' Bounder.
