I'm now thinking very little charge would be needed for the batteries and the 2200 would mostly power the fridge adn lights if needed.
With two (or more) batteries, if the only 120V thing you're operating is the fridge you should be able to get through the day without using the generator at all--just with the inverter. Running the big generator all night will recharge the batteries, assuming you have a modern multi-stage converter or a decent charger built into the inverter.
