The PD 80 amper specifies needing a 20a circuit, not a 15a circuit. It has PF of 0.7.
Some 2200 gens do 1700w running and the Honda does 1800w running. My 2200 does 1700 and maxes out with my 75 amp converter when set to 14.8v and doing 76 or 77 amps during the Bulk stage. The gen's overload light flashes, but does not trip. I think one more charging amp would pop the breaker!
Not sure what the specs are for the Ryobi 2200. Does it have a 20a receptacle? It will be right on the edge of overloading doing 80 amps on that converter, if it does not pop its breaker right away.
