How does the wiring for your "battery meter" (Magnum monitor) get to show the amps to the battery from the solar controller? AFAIK you need a shunt somewhere there.
Have you a Morningstar link confirming that?
Many controllers will show "PV amps" and "Batt Amps" but that is just the input and output amps. They can't show how many of the output amps went to battery. "Load amps" would only be for the loads connected to the controller's load terminals--but loads don't have to be on there, they can be on the battery so the controller would not "see" those.
