Morningstars will give you amps for solar, battery, and load. No need for a separate monitor or outboard shunts.

Many controllers will show "PV amps" and "Batt Amps" but that is just the input and output amps. They can't show how many of the output amps went to battery. "Load amps" would only be for the loads connected to the controller's load terminals--but loads don't have to be on there, they can be on the battery so the controller would not "see" those.
