question,, which is better when looking at solar panels.??

Higher voltage, ie.. 24 vs 12 or max amps they can produce. example: I am looking at a panel rated at 195 watt, 24vdc that produces 5.38 amps and another one that is 160 watts, 12vdc that produces...

As said, watts= volts x amps. Your controller will figure it out.

Higher voltage is a good choice.
