question,, which is better when looking at solar panels.??

Higher voltage, ie.. 24 vs 12 or max amps they can produce. example: I am looking at a panel rated at 195 watt, 24vdc that produces 5.38 amps and another one that is 160 watts, 12vdc that produces...

Get this controller: 45 amp Morningstar MPPT $470

Put the panels in series using existing MC4. Extensions are available if needed.

Get a long MC4 cable to run power down to the controller. Cut cable in half with MC4 to the panels, cut end to the controller.

Very similar to my install. Was two days self install working alone.
