Questions about a fuel solenoid for an Onan 7000.

In troubleshooting my non-running Onan 7000 generator the fuel solenoid did not pass a continuity test so I started looking around for a replacement. The Onan part number is 307-2756 but the label ...

Solenoid failed continuity test. Prior to failure the genset ran for about three hours and then died.
