most of the MPPT controllers have an input power limit and an output current limit.
So, if this is like the "typical" MPPT controller, max input power is 600W.
On the output side there is a "hard" current limit circuit set to in this case 20A.
So, if your connected to a 12V battery, max output power is about 300Wish (15Vx20A) and the input will adjust accordingly to supply that level of power even if the panel can provide more.
If your connected to a 24V battery bank, same limit of 20A, but in this case max power would be 600Wish (30Vx20A).
