I'm going to mount mine up front, near the batteries, in the shade. I will put it in a water resistant container but I'm waiting until it arrives before I start looking for the box to put it in. Shade is important where I'm from since it gets as hot as 122 degrees and heat is the controllers enemy. It will get a lot hotter than 122 degrees in the camper when it is parked in the sunlight.
