If you want 110 volts at 30 amps you might consider something like the ELM-3600SS which has a 220 volt 30 amp outlet that breaks into two 110 volt circuits, which could be used to backup a house for example, though this is still a small unit.

The 4 prong plug is 120/240 volts and you're only getting 1/2 the available current in the plug at 120 volts. The generator coils will have to be rewired in parallel rather than in series to get the full wattage at 120 volts.
