If the flame won't stay lit, it's not sensing that there is a flame. I had this issue a couple years ago and traced it to a poor connection on the circuit board. If there is an edge connector like mine, try pulling off the connector and cleaning the terminals gently with a pencil eraser. Sometimes pulling off the connectors and re-installing is all that is needed. Good luck.
