Re-light problem with frig on gas

I have a Norcold N811R in my travel trailer. When the switch is in the gas setting the frig lights, then when it gets to temp and shuts off, it will not re-light. Both lights are flashing and when I shut the frig off and back to the on gas position, it will re-light on its own until the frig shuts down again a tries another re-start. The frig works great on electric mode.
Any help is appreciated

  • Thanks for the input. I took the burner out and cleaned everything and so far it has worked. The DW and I are off for places south Monday morning now that we have a little break in the weather. Had 16" of snow on my deck 2 weeks ago, it it time to go.

These things are pretty easy to work on.

    Here is the manual. http://bryantrv.com/docs2/docs/ncoldnnewnseries.pdf

    What code is it showing?
    How are the lights flashing?
Follow the step by step flow trouble shooting chart.
  • Both LEDs flashing is because it failed to ignite.

    It failed to ignite because:
    Burner slots are dirty/obstructed
Spark Electrode gap to burner is incorrect (S/B 1/8")
    Spark Electrode is dirty

There are other things but it wouldn't light at all if they were problem
  • Norcold manual says flashing light indicates it is in the "Back-up Operating System", which it says is not owner-serviceable.

There are Norcold fridge guys on here who may be able to clarify.

Mine (13 years old) now sometimes shows an F code when on gas, but that is just the soot flakes coming down from the chimney onto the flame. A little clearing up solves that till the next time. No flashing lights though.
