Yup, the T's are in series as we all know so the 12's have to be parallel and just figure that in the 10 years we have had the MH we have never Dry Camped and due to my prostate cancer are using it even less.

If as you say you are not using the MH for dry camping. And if we can assume you are always going to be plugged in to shore power. Then buy the cheapest battery you can.
The two 12 volt batteries will work fine for you. Your current T-105's are wired in series to give you 12 volts. If you replace with 12 volt batteries then make sure they are wired in parallel so you still only have 12 volts.
