I was in the Costco in Langley, BC today and I saw the 2000W Champion inverter genset is now in stock. Price is $499 CAD.

The parallel kit is not available in store and is not yet listed on costco.ca so the price is still unknown. The picture of it shows it's designed to fit between two stacked units, and it has the round 120V 30A socket instead of the 20A socket on the individual units.
