I figure what the heck - I'll be the guinea pig.
Seems pretty quiet, especially when idling. It's noticeably louder at the exhaust end, so if you can point that away from the campsite it should be great.
It hunted a bit in econo mode when running a heavier load (Makita disc grinder rated 12.5A) but eventually settled down. No hunting with econo mode off.
Won't know for a week or so whether it would run the A/C but I'm not holding my breath.
Hopefully it will last a few years.
