I'm planning on sticking with WET. I have Sams Club Batts in my 93 Pace I purchased back in 05 & they are still running strong! Once I get the system setup & get some good experience under my belt I'll look at the gels down te road.
I will most def. take a picture of the batteries that are currently installed as well as put up some PICS, I have one of the football field on the roof and the layout of the house batteries. Lined up in a row side by side with the cables comming in from the left side. I believe I need a few short 1/2 foor cables. Should I consider making up my own cables? I have all the tools I'll need but a crimper.
GREAT IDEA about gound down thru a utility closet. That will be in the plan.
Looking at two hight voltage panels. One more thought..... We do plan to so some extensive boondocking. The current fridge is one of those Norcold 4 door with both water in the door and the ice maker. Looking at the backside not sure how much more life in in that cooling unit. Had the recall done but the module died so I have an appt. in two weeks to get it replaced.......
"IF" I decide to go with a residential fridge should I perhaps consider a 3rd panel? I figur a residential fridge would require about 110ah/day. Should I also consider 6 batteries????
Oh, Xantrex Freedom inverter/converter, Should I consider Xantrex controllor?
All suggestions welcome!
Sorry about spelling.
