I have basically the same truck Soundguy. What I did was I installed a deep cycle battery in the empty battery tray and then installed a 600 watt inverter in the bed of the truck. I wired it to the deep cycle battery.
Thanks, but a couple of years ago I installed a 1000 watt PSW inverter in our trailer's front pass through cargo compartment and wired the inverter outputs to dedicated receptacles both inside the trailer and outside. Since I run only one G27 battery on the trailer I also devised a load support system using 4 gauge booster cable that runs from the truck to the trailer and with the truck idling minimizes voltage drop. I'm just thinking that now with this new Silvy I may finally buy a new G31 to replace the G27 which is now 9 yrs old and install the G27 in this vacant space in the Silvy. That would be bonus enough but I may also experiment to see if connecting this spare battery directly to the truck battery terminals would supply much of a charge to the G27 as we're driving around in the truck during the day. Don't think it would damage the truck's electrical system at all and the G27 doesn't owe me anything so it's probably worth a try.
