Recharging via generator and/or solar panels
Since I have both options, from a power management perspective, since the 120W folding panel has diodes... must I only run one, or the other, and have a complete disconnect of the input from the solar...

Bypassing the controller will do nothing to improve charging.
Bypassing might, in theory, if there is a break in the clouds, burn out several many control boards--for the fridge for example. You really *don't* want to exceed 15.4 volts.
