Recommend Rear View Camera Please

Recently posted about failed camera guy said was only supposed to last 4 yrs. Don't trust him now; got to do it myself.

Can you recommend a good camera that I can just wire into the wires I have now? One that is clear, vibration resistant, etc? Also a new monitor if the TFT LCD Color Monitor that came with my orig install 10 years ago turns out to be bad too.

Please remember I am not high tech. I just wire the new one in and see if it works. Too old to learn diagnostic tools, etc. My plan is to wire in new camera, if still no work wire in new monitor, if still no work tie new wire to old one and pull it thru ---- hopefully then it all works.

  • Just call RV Cams and tell them what you have and what you want. Best customer service in the industry. You may be able to find better prices on Amazon or eBay, but if you have an issue hooking things up (and you will if you go that route), you have no one to call.

I had a 20 year old camera that connected to the front tube type TV. You needed to run the inverter to see backwards. Replaced the whole thing with no wire pulling.
