Refilling 16 oz propane bottle off a 20# tank

There are also explosion differences. The nuke over Japan was a pure explosion. A propane tank will have a significant amount of the fuel burned away until the tank goes boom. This isn't to say a propane explosion wouldn't be deadly, but if a propane truck was as dangerous as 20 nukes from WWII, we likely would have some terrorist organization use one for an attack by now.
