refrigerator brands is one better than the other ?

I will have to purchase a new refrigerator for an RV that I am restoring. Due to size constraints I need to go with a 2.7 - 3.0 cu.ft. size. Assuming I want an absorption fridge the main players are Dometic and Norcold. Is there a big difference in quality/performance between the two ? Are there other brands of absorption fridges ? I'm going to purchase in the fall/winter are there specific places that are better to buy from ? Any other tips ?

    You should seriously consider a normal residential refrigerator. They are so energy efficient that a small battery bank and inverter will run it several days. A generator can replenish the batteries in several hours. As a plus, the residential refrigerator, which performs better than the gas absorption models, will be so much cheaper you can but a generator and pocket money.
